Dr. Elizabeth Laffey
Dr. Elizabeth Laffey, a native of St. Louis, attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City Medical School and graduated with her medical degree in 1996. Following medical school, Dr. Laffey completed her residency in Family Practice at Saint Louis University from 1996 until 1999 and was chief resident in the last year of her tenure there.
Dr. Laffey was in practice for six years with Saint Louis University and served as an associate professor of medicine prior to opening Gateway Physician. She gained extensive experience in all aspects of family medicine including obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, geriatrics, HIV/AIDS care, and emergency medicine. Her approach to medicine is collaborative, open-minded and focused on treating patients holistically.
Dr. Laffey has authored chapters for "The Essentials of Family Practice," and has had her
research presented internationally.
A resident of Kirkwood, MO, Dr. Laffey is married to husband Joe Laffey and has one son, Ian. She is an avid swimmer, rock climber and Pilates practitioner.
Dr. Amy Miller
Dr. Amy Miller is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center. Born and raised in Seattle, she is a former Miss Seattle and has always had a keen interest in skin care, health, and helping people to look and feel beautiful. She is an adjunct professor of Family Medicine and teaches interested family medicine residents about laser medicine.
Dr. Miller is board certified by the American Boards of Family Medicine, Laser Surgery and Mesotherapy. She is also a member of the St. Louis Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and on staff at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield.
Dr. Miller is married and is the mother of three boys.
